August 31st – Dust City Opera
Dust City Opera is the American Southwest’s fastest-rising indie folk-rock band led by singer/songwriter Paul Hunton. They’re known for their unique instrumentation, crafty songwriting, and playful onstage banter. Hunton’s songwriting is strikingly visual and spans the spectrum from whimsical to apocalyptic, balancing his powerful voice over exceptional arrangements of dreamy guitar licks and intensely rich horns.
They have been compared to likeness of Tom Waits, Modest Mouse, and Cake with an acoustic, folksy richness that is paired with a unique instrumentation of clarinets, trombone, accordion, the occasional vibraslap, (and YELLING!).
The release of Dust City Opera’s debut album, Heaven, in early 2019 sparked a handful of radio, magazine, and TV appearances and garnered international attention with music bloggers and industry leaders such as Eric Alper (US), Keep Walking Music (Spain), We Love That Sound (Germany), MP3 Hugger (Ireland), Movimento Country (Portugal), and many, many more.

August 24th – Silver String Band
Formed in 2015, the Silver String Band is known for pushing the boundaries of traditional bluegrass music. This “rowdygrass” ensemble balances high-energy, boot-scooting music with enchanting, soulful songs that will pluck at your heartstrings.
Formed in 2015, Silver String Band immediately captured the attention of the booming music scene in Albuquerque, NM. After a year of playing the brewery stage circuit, they released their first self-titled studio album in the fall of 2016, which led to notable local and regional growth as they made a name for themselves and embarked on a tri-state tour.
Their second studio album, “Keep Running,” was released in the spring of 2018 and reflects on the toils of young adulthood, bucolic landscapes, and pays homage to a number of musical styles including bluegrass, grunge, punk, jazz, gospel, and country music.
